THROUGH SILENCE

Wearing Tibetan beads and dresses
You walk in  silence
When I ask your name
You smile in silence

You live far away in the mountain
Beneath the cloud
You love ragged mountains and winding trails
You love Buddhist monasteries and Deuralis
You love Yak herds and innocent mountain people
you love innocence an purity

You sing the songs of silence far away in the mountain
You sing the songs of poor and the sufferer
You sing the songs of cold breeze and ice desert
You sing the songs of Buddhist prayer flags and wheels

Several times I have been with you
Walking together in the trails
several times, I have been with you telling legends of yak and yetis
Remembering you and your presence
I often sing songs of your beauty and innocence
