Polite Admonition

Hear, O the Almighty
get me out of this anxiety
a majestic rose smiling at a great height
making me restless all the day long and night
with an aroma and redemptive power
Propelling me to the abstraction for hours and hour

Hear, O the Almighty
get me out of this anxiety
solemnly charged as a ray of sunshine
culpability was of my words but not mine
decked with a consecrated mortal essence
depicted as a cleric imparting the lessons

Hear, O the Almighty
get me out of this anxiety
I wish I could nurture the rose
with its grateful odour I could flare my nose
but my hands have fallen short to pluck it
and I would dare not - as it is hard to beat

Hear, O the Almighty
get me out of this anxiety
what a moral - could give a dispirited face ?
been lagged far behind ever in all the race
"Dreams-Reality" have confined into fantasy
wading through a flooded path forever losing the ecstasy

Hear, O the Almighty O creator
why such an injustice being an equal distributor?
"You" , a miser to endow an equal power
why am I at the fathom and is she in the tower ?
but forgive me - for all these grumbles
never let the dreams of rose come apart and crumble

So, hear O the almighty and O creator
Apprise her not to script the eulogy of mine
extolling and replacing me as the rival of thine
still I wish the rose keep on smiling the very same
never fading and losing its lustier and the fame
being a crown and the victor of all the game
