TRUE FRIENDSHIP

She played everyday with her friends. She was the most popular kid at her school and everyone knew her. They called her Flame. Everyone thought she was cool and they always followed her. Flame had everything but it didn’t feel right. Even if she had friends she felt all alone. One day she was playing basketball with her friends, when a girl named Lily came to ask if she could join, all the other girls in the group started to laugh at her and made fun of her, she ran crying. Then finally Flame remembered..........

There used to be a girl named Dawn and she was all alone when she moved to this school. She was alone and when class started, and she went to sit at the back. When the other students entered the classroom, they started pointing at her and whispering in eachother’s ears. Even at recess no one cared about her. She felt so alone. She thought about her old school, where everyone had friends and if there was a new kid they would always make them feel welcomed. She really missed her old friends. Then Dawn heard someone say, “ Hey, do you wanna play with me? ” Dawn looked at the girl standing infront of her. She looked nice. Dawn simply replied, “ Sure.”

Dawn was starting to have fun at her new school because she had a friend. Then something happened, Dawn always had new things and she used to share everything with Lily. The popular kids’ group was jealous so they started hanging around Dawn. Soon her name was Flame. Only now Dawn realized who her true friend was.

It was Lily, who accepted her for who she is and not for what she has. Then she followed Lily, but Lily didn’t want to talk to her anymore. Dawn thought that she had made the biggest mistake of her life.

Now she was back to being a loner with no friends, but Dawn knew that if Lily was her true friend she would forgive Dawn and come back to her. She was right, Lily did come back to her like a true friend always does. That’s what true friends really are. Someone who you can talk out your problems with. Someone who accepts you for who you are. Someone who always goes with you and not against you. Some one who cares about your feelings and helps you move on with life. Someone who you trust. Someone who sticks with you no matter what. Someone who shares their happiness and sadness with you. Someone who doesn’t give up on your hopes. Someone who always forgives you if you do something wrong. Someone who you like as a friend and finally someone who never breaks the friendship chain. That's what TRUE FRIENDS really are !!
