In the memories of you


Even we are across the miles
Your thoughts always make me smile
Time spent with you flashes
In my memory all the while

The days spent with you
And the laughter shared with you
If I could turn back time
And in my life let the sun again shine
And fill my days with the childhood rhymes
I would bring back those days I would shut all the ways
To let fate come and take you away

Fate has been cruel to me
Because it took you away from me
Today when I remember the days
All happy and full of gay
Into my eyes tears slowly make their way
And my heart cries in pain
I feel what is there in life to gain
I wish I could turn back time
And in my life let the sun again shine
And make us together again

The memories of our childhood
Haunts me all the while
How we used to quarrel together
And laughed over stupid things together
The games we played
And the mistakes we made
No matter how much I try
Can't stop my heart to cry
Can't bring back the laughter
Can't bring a day like that another

All the memories are still alive
But you are not
Fate took you away from me
And made us miles apart
I hate to think you are not here
Sorrows and happiness to share
From me you are so far
Up in the heaven you shine like a star

Brother! O brother why did you leave me
And went so far
So far that now I cannot talk to you
I cannot see you
I cannot touch you
I cannot hear you
I cannot feel you
Prayers are all now I can give
In my heart you will always live
All I can do now is cherish your memories
And make you alive in my memories
Not in reality only in my memories
All I can do now is remember you and pray for you
May the heavenly door be opened for you
May the heavenly God bless you
And may your heavenly soul rest in peace.
